TUR 50/1500 universal lathe after general overhaul

Tokarka

Technical condition: universal lathe type TUR 50/1500 manufactured by FAT Wrocław underwent a general overhaul along with adaptation to the minimum requirements for occupational health and safety. As an additional option, the machine has a central lubrication system and a digital position reading system in 3 axes. We also added a cable guide which prevent its tanglings.

Basic technical data:

  • Turning over bed: 500 mm
  • Turning over support: 300 mm
  • Turning length: 1500 mm
  • Spindle bore: 71 mm
  • 2-speed motor: 6/11 kW

TUR-type universal lathes were manufactured by Fabryka Automatów Tokarskich "PONAR-WROCŁAW" in Wrocław from the early 1970s to the late 1980s and are produced in various versions until today by the current owner - the Haco Group, which took over FAT in 1998.

The popular TURs are still considered to be one of the best universal lathes around the world and used in the machining industry for unit, small-lot production involving turning external, internal, frontal surfaces, etc. Their control system is very often modernized to numerical control (NC versions).

The bed width of the TUR lathes is 433 mm, which makes the machines highly rigid.

TUR lathes have different machining parameters depending on the type and size of the lathe, e.g. TUR-560, TUR-63, TUR-630M, TUR-630A, TUR-710.

The TUR-50 type lathes after a general overhaul performed by the MultiMasz company in Bralin do not differ in technical parameters from the parameters of new lathes.

the scope of the overhaul of TUR lathes includes the repair of the mechanical part, the electrical part, the derivation of the geometry in accordance with the Technical Acceptance Conditions (WOT) and PN.
